Azureus is a good torrent client as it is developed in Java.
But I think that is one of it's weakness too.
You see, when Azureus is loaded into memory it occupies much resources as it runs on top of the JVM,
And as we all know java applications are notorious to be slow and resource hungry.
And by no way Azureus is faster than utorrent.
I have tested the speeds myself and never found Azureus downloading faster than uTorrent.
