Default Re: Best Torrent Client

Configuring port forwarding for uTorrent is not so difficult.
You have to first log on to your DSL modem /router 's control interface thru web browser or telnet (using ip address of your router). Then follow the instructions of your router manual to enable Virtual Servers. This setting is available in Advanced Setup>NAT>Virtual Servers in most standard routers.
Now give the following details

Server name : any (ex:-uTorrent)
External Port Start : anyport (ex:-34567)
External Port End: same as previous (ex:-34567)
Protocol : TCP
Internal Port Start : anyport (ex:-34567)
Internal Port End: same as previous (ex:-34567)
Server IP Address : IP of your LAN connection that connects to router

After enabling these settings, save and reboot the router.
Then goto utorrent>Options>speed Guide
set the "Current Port" value to the port number u
have just enabled in router (34567).

Now enjoy the fast downloads in utorrent!!!
