Many doctors will say diet and excercise but what you have to realize is that by diet it does not mean a short term thing you would need to have a complete lifestyle change as far as eating habits in order to acheive the maximum results.

Dieticians will tell you to eat 6 small meals a day everyday. This can be a mjor lifestyle change for people who are used to just eating 3 large meals a day.
