You can do that in FF, and I'm always using it. Infact wasn't Microsoft that gave in and gave users tabs after they saw people switching to FF.

I wouldn't say messed up. IE is way to forgiving in terms of poor coding. There are way too many developers out there that are not following standards and then my moan that their website doesn't work in FF.
