Any one can describe what SPAM means in easy word?

SPAM stands for Specifically Persecuted Advertising Mail. This refers to refers to unsolicited commercial advertisements distributed online. Sometimes they are also unwanted emails. That is why there is also spamming on emails.

I kind of figured it was an abbreviation for something, but Spam makes me think of that meat in a can that is a mixture of junk, so I thought it was appropriate for junk mail.

Unwanted Mails. These are mails sent randomly by individuals or companies for free ads. It is a pesky thing that I hope they won't benefit from.

I liked the comparison to the SPAM product it was pretty funny.

Makes sense in a way when you think about it but that of course is not the reason. A lot of advertisers think they can send email to thousands of people that didn't ask for it so they can increase their profits without having to actually PAY for advertising.

The way I see it, it could do more harm to the company rather than help it. Spamming known that it is being used mostly by cheap companies that doesn't want to pay the fine for a real and legitimate advertisement. Why would any company want to be seen as cheap? Do I make a point here?
