what's the difference between vb & .netframework ?

Hi,
.Net framework consists of vb for code behind.we can do widows application in Vb,it is fully supported oops.here,i have added additional tips for .Net framework.it supports three types of applications that are given below

1.widows application-mostly use vb for code behind

2.Web based applocation-Mostly use C# otherwise vb not.

3.Console application-Mostly use c.
