If you don't know the relative path (like '../images/foo.jpg'), then you can use the full path URL (like 'file:///C:/WINDOWS/Desktop/MyImgs/foo.jpg'). You can also pull files from other machines on your local network by using the same kind of syntax ('file://hostname/path/to/file.jpg')
