Hi

this is just like a debate,

here you can speak about the survival of C, C++

1) Will C,C++ exist in Future
2) If so, what will be the functional area of these languages
3) where can we use C, C++ in Future
3) Where is the Scope for this language

yes C and C++ will survive because for any tools under any OS preferably unix will be developed in C , even the famous gcc is developed in C , and C++ for the GUI interfaces, They will be into the development areas and their scope of use will be endless. Think that you have declared a variable as a global one and it can used anywhere in the program. like wise C and C++ can be called as Global Programming Languages...

Mostly these two languages are basic for all languages such as C#,Java and .NEt.so it must survive in future no doubts...

hi poornima,
ya, it may be the base for the language you specified but, think the usage of C && CPP now a days, its hard to see people write there code from the scratch by using C || CPP, i think, in feautur we can see C && CPP in School books but not in the realworld....
