 Re: collission domain hi, when u pass or send the data through hub or switch if it's working on layer 1 then they both are consider single collision and single broadcast domain.in collision domain your destination pc find out by mac address then the hub and switch broadcast who port reply then send the data that's why create collision. collision called (data accident).
