Hi,

No Need all the time.

The slave can be disconnected for a single or more than one day,after reconnecting it will catch up on the updates.

Hi Ashok,

It depends on your requirement, if you using slave servers for read purpose you should keep the slaves always connected to the master server. So that if any update is happened in master that will be catch up by the slave.
