Default Default Schemas in ORACLE

Hi All,

When i installed ORACLE to my local server.

I can able to see the default Schemas SYSTEM and SYS.

But i noticed all the System oriented Packages and other related objects are present in the SYS schema alone.

Then what is the necessary use of SYSTEM schema?
