Default Atari

Atari is known as a game developer nowadays, back in the late 70's or 80's, it can be compared to PS3 and Xbox 360 right now. Anyone out there were able to have an Atari game console back then?

I didn't have a console, but I think I read that Atari's coming out with another system. Has anybody else heard that?

About a year and a half ago, I got an Atari CD out of a cereal box that had lots of games on it, including classics like Centipede, Super Breakout and Battle Zone.

I still have an Atari 2600 game console that contains almost 160 games as two sets on an A-B switch. Two joysticks. Both having independent Easy/Hard switch.

I used to play the game in which we fly a airplain through a tunnel and the tunnel size keeps decreasing... Helecopters and other obstucles on the way... Does anyone remember it's name ? I also liked the boxing and fishing

I won an Atari 2600 in a McDonalds scratch off game in the early 1980's. I loved that thing and considered it the best thing to happen in my young life at the time!

I had an Atari 2600jr, sold it when I was a kid (dumb!) then rebought an Atari 2600 off eBay. I loved the thing. My favorite games were Tunnel Runner and Pitfall II.
