Default Help getting started

Hi, I want to begin to learn developing j2me applications but I don't know which software or development tools/environment I need. I had trouble with making Netbeans Mobility work (can't detect some needed modules).

welcome to discussweb .all you need to do is download eclipse or netbeans for development tool purposes...below is link for netbean5.5 ide

Just Download the following development tools and start installing....

1)NetBeans IDE 6.0.1 Download
2)NetBeans IDE - Java ME Features

what version your currently working with?....the link above i pointed was latest version in netbeans 6.01...if you plan of developing blackberry app too in netbeans,installing netbeans 5.5 ide ll be the best choice ..below link helps you in getting blackberry in netbeans...
