how to open and retrive text file(.txt)?

hello i'm a beginner programmer and very new about JSP..
i have a problem : let see i have a process where a user want some data file(text file.txt) from somewhere for example from D:\smarrt\rd445566.txt. After user have that file, user can choose whether he want to save that file or display it as a text file. I have search meny time through web but can't find any suitable example or salution..

so..anyone in here can give me some idea or code example?
i really really need help here..

Hi….

Just open a file using fileinputsteam. Then you can do the read/write it.

Otherwise, you can write one java bean and do this operation and call that bean into jsp.
If you have any problems give your specific code. I will correct it.
