Default Monitor Sizes

Please note here your monitor sizes and what your experiences are, good or bad, with different manufacturers. I am asking because I am looking at adding 2 more flat panels to my layout.

I used to have a Samsung 19" widescreen monitor and it was great for watching downloaded DVDs. But I recently upgraded to a 27" LCD monitor for my gaming pad.

17 inches will do for me currently, but I'm looking forward to buying a 24-incher BENQ LCD monitor this year! (pretty sweet prices, but I'm thrifty yeah :P )

Post Re: Monitor Sizes

I had no problems with my 19" Samsung LCDs; but I heard that BENQ LCDs are not that great. A friend of mine who owns a computer store told me that his 17" BENQ LCDs were being returned because the screen seems to be distorted when you move your mouse.

I'm using a 17" LG LCD monitor and it is fine by me. Lately, I'm just using my desktop computer for typing things and browsing the web so I don't need bigger monitors so far.

Right now I am staying with some family so I am on my 17" laptop screen which works for me since my computer at home is also a 17"

My husband has a 19" but it seems too much for me somehow.
