Free internet TV already exists online. I wonder what's special with the free internet TV called Joost which is currently under beta testing . Those behind this program are the same people behind Skype.

You know, I just can't get into the whole internet TV time. I use the internet mainly for research and work. TV time is my way to unwind and I love to watch TV on the couch not at the computer desk. I am still looking to see where the enjoyment is in the internet TV thing.

I have heard of people watching TV online - is there a website that you go to, or do you have to install software?

You tube, for example, is a place you can watch videos, or even expotv. You should have a fast service and sometimes it requires you to download their software.

I've heard about internet TV years ago but I still haven't seen one work. Is the video quality ok? Aren't there any problems like images that form pixels?

I on the other hand rely everything on my computer at home. I have linked my audio out to my home theater system and I just bought a 29" wide screen LCD. I think that I might try this internet TV out later on when I don't feel like watching DVDs anymore.
