I believe the crucial factor is diet, followed by exercise... swear by a low-carb, many small meals diet, with plenty of protein, water, and supplements to boot.

Do you have any tips to share for losing that bulging mass?

The problem of taking in small meals is that you can easily get back the weight you lose once you start eating right again. The best way to lose weight is exercise.

Exercise is definitely the answer to losing weight. I usually don't check on my weight that often. I just play basketball every afternoon after work or I go for a swim for 2 hours.

Badmiton, swimming or joggign is the better way to burn your fats.

Many doctors will say diet and excercise but what you have to realize is that by diet it does not mean a short term thing you would need to have a complete lifestyle change as far as eating habits in order to acheive the maximum results.

Dieticians will tell you to eat 6 small meals a day everyday. This can be a mjor lifestyle change for people who are used to just eating 3 large meals a day.
