| Microsoft Corp. on Tuesday released two security fixes for its Windows operating systems, including one that remedies a dangerous vulnerability. The software giant gave the serious security fix its most urgent "critical" rating. Criminal groups could exploit the bug to break into and steal data from vulnerable machines. The other fix, which Microsoft gave the second-highest "important" rating, addresses a hole that affects Windows Server 2003 and Windows 2000 Server systems. Windows users can download the patches from the Microsoft Update Website or via Automatic Updates. |
