| Is there any way to display the name of current tower being used by a Windows Mobile 5.0 device? It is known as “Cell Info Display” on Nokia phones. For smartphone devices, goto StartMenu>Stettings>Phone>Channels and un check “Enable Channels”. This will do the trick. But for Pocket PC devices, you have to go to Star>Settings>connections>cell Broadcast Settings> Check “Enable Channels” Then add a new channel with any name and Channel number 50. Now on, you will receive updates on Cell Info. Some networks use channel 200 instead of 50. |
