Mobile phones are becoming more advance and powerful as we progress. I can even say that a new released mobile phone right now is more powerful compared to a desktop computer released in the 90's. Are there really viruses for mobile phones present or is it just a myth that retailers invent so that customers won't ask too much questions when their units experience certain problems? If it is true; are there any anti-virus softwares available for our mobile phones?

I've also heard that mobile phone virus do exist and that it causes your phone to lose some files and even makes your phone keep on connecting to the web. But I haven't seen an anti-virus program for mobile phones as of now.
