How to determine your operating systems?

There are many Operating System available and it is quite difficult to depict due to its similarity and quite small differences. The easiest way to know what windows operate on your computer is to click on "Start" in the taskbar and select "Run".

Winver is the command that define which windows operate your computer system.

Type Winver in the open window (see below image) and the command will automatically display which windows is actually installed on your computer.

It may happen that updates to your system might refuse to install due to error in file system 32. System32 is an important tool for windows OS. However this file is very vulnerable to Trojan, malware and virus who implanted in it and can get easily corrupt.

If windows refuse to install update on your system, click on “Menu Start” and select “Run”

Type “cmd” in the open window.

Then type below command in MS-DOS:

Use your scanner without restarting your computer (Windows XP)

Windows XP users might have faced the same problem while trying to use their scanner just after having switched on their computer. The scanner will not respond to any of the signals sent by the computer and the only option that you will find at that time will be to restart the whole system again. However, there is a simple way to solve this issue:

How to delete the Christina Aguilera Virus

You could have come across or have come across an email message entitled “Christina Aguilera Nude”. Do NOT in any case open this message as it is a virus!

This virus spreads through the computer system and even lodges in flash disks that are connected to the infected computer. More than often, your antivirus program will detect it but not be able to remove it.

Create a Password Reset Disk

If you’re running Windows XP Professional as a local user in a workgroup environment, you can create a password reset disk to log onto your computer when you forget your password. To create the disk:

Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click User Accounts.

Click your account name.

Under Related Tasks, click Prevent a forgotten password.

Follow the directions in the Forgotten Password Wizard to create a password reset disk.

Store the disk in a secure location, because anyone using it can access your local user account
