Cent OS - The Community ENTerprise Operating System, from sources freely provided to the public by a prominent North American Enterprise Linux vendor. CentOS conforms fully with the upstream vendors redistribution policy and aims to be 100% binary compatible.

Cent os is getting more popular nowadays suggested by many web hosts. They say both linux and cent os are the same. If that is true, why pay around $20 for linux (This is the average licence price for a dedicated server) ?

Does anyone have handson experience with cent os ? If so, kindly post your reviews..
