Qmail has something called qmailtoaster, a CentOS based ISO I think.
The better option would be to install postfix.
The Postfix Home Page
As to spam and virus filtering, there are many options.
You have a million readmes on the Internet on these matters.
clamav for virus filtering and Vipul's razor for spam control come to
mind.

But spam control involves a lot more. Like tarpitting, greylisting, RBL
checks, SPF and so on.

Thanks

There's lots of solutions out there. I am not familiar enough with all
of them to recommend one as per your needs.

How about spamassassin for filtering spam and clamavisd for virus
scanning.

They should have the above mentioned packages so not much of a problem.

I suggest you look into DeepOfix (deepOfix Mail Server | DeepRoot Linux). It's
created by a company out of b'lore and seems pretty stable and straightforward

It might save you a lot of admin headache, and you'll also be
supporting a local linux company

Server side controls in Zimbra are not good enough. Scalix performs better on that front.

Thanks
