Hi.. please go thro this..

CMS stands for content management system.
cms is a tool that helps even a novice user to manage his website online.
Lets see some of the popular CMS availbale in the net.
1. Drupal
2. Joomla
3. Mambo
and many other....

Most of the above mentioned cms tools where written with php and mysql. when we take each of them and install everything and try out we will come out with some conclusion.

I am learning joomla CMS. When i tried to install a module it shows some version error with that zip file.

I have no idea on that..

Pls give me a solution..

hi
If you compress the module file in rar format it shows such type of error. otherwise recheck version in that module XML file

for example

<mosinstall type="module" version="1.0.0">
<name>Biog</name>
<author>Falcon</author>
<creationDate>Dec 2007</creationDate>
<version>1.0.0</version>
<description>Used for Displaying the Biomarker Blog</description>
<files>
<filename module="mod_blog">mod_blog.php</filename>
</files>
</mosinstall>
