When we insert a record in mysql db using php script, we have a command called mysql_insert_id() which will return the primary key (autogenerated) field value. Can any one tell, is there any function for getting the inserted record field value dynamically. Note without querying the mysql db, i want the built in function for getting the current inserted record field value.
