Hi Jey

We can change the configuration variable through the admin panel. After login to the admin panel, In the home page you will see the Control panel in that panel you will see the configuration icon. If you select that icon it will take you to the site configuration page. There you can change the configuration variable values

Hi Senraj

This is caused, most likely by the fact that the component alias in question is matching the name of a real directory located under your Joomla directory. As explained above, you can not create component or other kind of aliases that match the name of existing under your public_html (or the folder where your Joomla is located) folders.

I think it will helpful for you

Post Re: Joomla introduction?

hi,

I have downloaded the adsense mambot and have used it successfully to place ads in content on my new joomla site. However, I have tried following the instructions for the side bar adsense (How to use Google AdSense with Mambo?) and just cannot get it to work. Rather than displaying ads on the site everyone can see the adsense code!

I am wondering if I have misunderstood the No WYSIWYG step of the instructions. This option was already selected as published with a green tick when I followed that step of your instructions - so I left it alone. I am now wondering if you meant for it to be unpublished?

Regards,
SENRAJ

Hi Senraj

You should un-publish all editors you have – they are designed to include the code-text of Google AdSense instead of its functionality. Please, deactivate all WYSIWYG editors.

This may help you..

Hi Senraj,

let we consider your example
www.test1.com?option=com_regiter&task=register

This URL will display the registration page
if you want to edit the registration page. first you want know which component is loaded. if u find the component you can easily edit that page.
you can find the component in the site query string itself. In your example that com_register is the component for register page in that component you will see the register.html.php and register.php files. using that files you can modify or change register page of your site

I think this may help...

Falcon

Post Re: Joomla introduction?

hi,

Is it possible to protect images in Zoom gallery? So when someone is trying to copy and save an image he is not allowed to. And if so, how can I do that?

Hi Senraj

Such protection is possible, but it is not an option included in the Zoom gallery. If you would like to do that, you would need to do some changes in the code of the gallery.

Post Re: Joomla introduction?

hi Falcon,

I have an issue when trying to upload files from the browser. It seems like whenever I try regarding
the user profile settings I get 'Access Denied'.
The only user that is able to access that part in the browser is the super admin.

What have I done wrong?

Hi Senraj

What you need to do for your Zoom gallery is to grant permission for your Mambo/Joomla users.

Hi Senraj

This can be easily fixed by going at your Joomla administration and reaching the SMF component configuration. There you will see the link that you should click to Apply the SMF code into the template of Joomla in order for the wrapping to be successful.

Default Re: Joomla introduction?

Hi Senraj

This happens because the integration package is being shipped with a Joomla login module, that must be installed along with the component. This login form must be published, replacing the standard login form of the Joomla application. This can be done from the menu Modules -> Site Modules. Click on the “window” sign next to the Joomla login form and it must became a red cross – this indicates that this form is now unpublished. Clicking on the red cross next to the Joomla-SMF login form will make the sign to show a “window”, which means it's published. With published login form and properly merged databases – issues like this one will not occur.

Falcon

Post Re: Joomla introduction?

Hi Falcon,

Thank's for your reply.

I have created a component alias and when accessing the component link, I am getting the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare sefreltoabs() (previously declared in /home/user/public_html/administrator/components/com_sef/sef.functions.php:137) in /home/user/public_html/includes/sef.php on line 162'
