This indicates that the component that is being mapped (not that the OpenSEF is broken). Currently, the components that cause this error message to be prompted are the phpBB and Remository. The error is caused by the style that the components use – they have hard codded the Joomla's default SEF and it conflicts with the OpenSEF.

If when trying to reach your Mambo website you are unable to see any images and the template is not applied to what you are seeing, there is a reason for that.

It is related to the fact that you have used a domain name that does not point to your account when setting up your Mambo. In this case you the template's stylesheet is not applied. Also, your images do not appear, since they are being references to by domain name (which is currently not pointing to your account with SiteGround).

Hi Senraj

This is an old issue with all Mambo/Joomla driven sites installed via Fantastico. By default your domain name is set in the configuration.php file without the www. prefix and this is what makes WYSIWYG editor not working.

The WYSIWYG editor can be fixed by opening your configuration.php and replacing the bold text

from:
$mosConfig_livesite= 'yourdomainname.com';

to:
$mosConfig_livesite= 'www.yourdomainname.com';

Sometimes, when you are trying to open a Mambo website, you see the following error message instead of the expected website: "This site is temporarily unavailable. Please notify the System Administrator".

The most probable reason for the error is that there is a redirect set up, which is not working properly for the website. That is why, when you try to access your site the browser find an empty directory.

If you are the owner of the website, please attempt using the following address instead:

http://SERVERNAME.com/~yourUserName/

Also, please, check if your domain name does have the proper name servers and resolves to the server your account is on.

Hi,

Legacy Mode in Joomla 1.5 is needed in order to install Joomla 1.0.* extensions.

In order to enable it, go to the administrator's panel, Extensions, Plugin manager. There find " System - Legacy", check it and click on "Enable" from the top right menu.

The above instructions are valid for the stable Joomla 1.5 versions. If you are using Joomla 1.5 beta versions, you can enable the "Legacy mode" in the Global Configuration.
