Hello varghese, I'll explain some basics here, Page Rank is a Ranking relating your place in your market based on links and SE Rankings is the pposition your site has amongst the SE results for a specific keyword. Now my question is: Do you want a tool to know your Page Rank or to know your Rankings for a specific Keyword?

Ok, so you want to know your Rankings for a specific keyword. Here is a great tool I use daily, not only for knowing how is my site ranking but to find in which related keywords my site is ranking already. This tool retrieves the top 100 related keywords from popular keywords suggestion tools such as overture and look for your site on the results for that keywords on Google, Live/MSN and Yahoo at the same time. You should input your domain, a main keyword and check the "fresh data" checkbox for the tool to get your current Rankings, otherwise it will check a database which may not be as accurate as live results but it is faster.

Google typically will index you one of two ways - either it will find your site while spidering through other sites (which will tend to be faster) or it will add you after a request.

Web spiders are the most powerful tool. A spider serves one major function, Data Mining. The way a typical spider (like Google) works is by crawling a web site one page at a time, gathering and storing the relevant information such as email addresses, meta-tags, hidden form data, URL information, links, etc. The spider then crawls all the links in that page, collecting relevant information in each following page, and so on. Before you know it, the spider has crawled thousands of links and pages gathering bits of information and storing it into a database. This web of paths is where the term 'spider' is derived from.
