| Unable to create empty Biztalk project in Visual Studio 2008 Team System SP1 Hi, I am unable to create a empty Biztalk Server 2009 Project in Visual Studio 2008 Team System SP1, I simply receive the error message "Project Creation Failed" in the Visual Studio and following warning in the Appication event log One or more templates do not match any installed project packages.

| Hi, To fix this issue you need to repair BizTalk Server. Browse to the BizTalk installation and click setup.exe, or go to "Programs and Features" or "Add/Remove Programs", click BizTalk Server 2009 to change it and select Repair. After it has been repaired the issue should go away. Regards,

| Hi, If one dont configure all the necessary databases, then you my expect such kind of error messages. The simple test for this would be : go to Admin console and collapse the biztalk server group tab.If you dont see Applications tab under this group, then your databases are not configured .Then go into Config file and do the necessary configuration. Let me know, if this worked for you. |

| Hi all, Did you try repairing your BizTalk installation, as suggested in a previous post on this page ? The problem should go away on repairing BizTalk. If the problem still persists, please try these steps 1. Close all running instances of Visual Studio 2. Open a "Visual Studio command prompt" (Start-->Programs-->Visual Studio 2008 --> Visual Studio tools --> Visual Studio 2008 Command prompt) 3. Give the following commands cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2009\Developer Tools gacutil /if SHDocVw.dll Now, open Visual Studio and try to create BizTalk projects. Please let us know whether this worked or not. |

| Hi All, Repairing the Biztalk installation did the trick. Not sure what and why the Visual Studio project creation for the Biztalk suddenly started failing. Many Thanks. Running the Gacutil command did not help. Thanks for the response. Regards
