Default Do you have a Site Mascot?

I just came up with my own mascot from an old peice of sheet music.

I call her "Lady Hoo"

What do you think? Do you have a mascot too?

I don't. I think either a mascot or a memorable logo is important, but sadly graphic design is something I'm not strong in.

I don’t have my own mascot. I believe that I don’t need it, since all I have is a blog. I’m going to get one if I have my own site.

I don't think a mascot is necessary, but a logo can really help your site stand out in peoples minds. I don't have a site at the moment, but I have some ideas, if I ever did want to start one.

It's a great idea if it works well for your site. I have old scientific drawings of dinosaurs as the 'mascots' of my blog and they're great for catching eyes and providing something memorable to visitors.

I don't one yet myself however I do feel it's a very important thing. A mascot for a website can almost be like a brandname, people see something familiar that they like and they just keep coming back! Your mascot is very interesting

Very true. The important thing however is not to have a mascot that degrades the content of your site. Whipping together a corny looking cartoon is not as good as spending a bit of time on what could be a nicer looking banner or aesthetic for a site.
