| This is a tricky question. Solution to this depends on the knowledge of the evaluator about the limitations of the automation tool. However, one of the usual way to evaluate a tool is to first identify a set of manual testcases which cover most of the functionalities of the appliction to be tested. Then, try to automate these testcases using the automation tool. If developing automated tests for these testcases is fesible then go ahead with the tool. |
