Wonder with Vector Smart Object!

I have learnt about Vector Smart Object, i want to share with u..

You know about the Smart Object (its working like merged layer with editable- we can edit the smart object in new photoshop document by double clicking the smart object layer)

Now!! in the vector smart object method - you can add the vector file (created byt illustrator) *.ai in your main PSD file, and you can edit the *.ai file in illustrator and save it the changes will be reflected on your PSD file, its working like the dynamic content.

for example, while you creating the web page you can create the logo in illustrator and add the illustrator file to your PSD file (select the File menu Place) File > Place in your photoshop and select you *.ai file, it will make the AI file to Vector Smart Object, if you want to change your logo color, simply you can change the color of the logo in illustrator and save it, it will be reflected on your PSD file.

Just try it and enjoy with the vector smart object.

Hey PESC.....its Excellent man!!

I understand that illustrator is best for creating logos and vector based drawings. but i am not using it becoz its a bit slow and took much memory. so i always used to create logos and artworks in macromedia flash.

do you think i am rite?
