Yahoo Inc. has adapted its instant message service to work in six Asian languages, the company said.
The IM service has been adapted to work for local languages in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, India and Vietnam.
Other features added included a video player, photo sharing and call forwarding.

Grats Annerz! So much of the online market now seems to be expanding to countries abroad. It's neat that Yahoo is courting your market now.

Good to see my country in the list too. That is a real good information. Photo sharing would be the best part for me.

its really good that they have thought about such countries....
i think these countries include a really major number of net surfers

That's a really good thing and it's about time that big internet companies like Yahoo! are starting to provide for user bases in different countries. It's only a good thing for them in the long run as well and probably wasn't a difficult change to institute.

I'm glad that they are including my country in their instant message service. I think that they maybe have a chance on monopolizing this part of the internet if they will only continue on doing it.

That's true. If they keep up with this sort of level of expansion than it could definitely be possible for Yahoo! to create a monopoly, especially since they're attempting a merger with Google.

A good move by Yahoo, there are a number of countries becoming very active on the internet that perhaps weren't so active before and it's a great business idea for Yahoo to be getting in there and giving these countries the options and tools they need on the internet to make loyal "Yahoo" customers out of them.

good job yahoo! it feels great that my country is included. actually a lot are using yahoo. I can see that it is improving and lots of cool features to offer.
